Space object VR12 2017 will approach the Earth on the night of 6 to 7 March. The asteroid will fly from the Earth at a distance of 1.5 million kilometers, which by cosmic standards is pretty close.

The estimated speed of the asteroid is 6.3 kilometers per second. From 5 to 7 March at the radio telescope the Goldstone planned to monitor the convergence of the asteroid to Earth. According to experts, this celestial body does not pose a threat to the inhabitants of the Earth.
