A vulnerability has been found in the uTorrent desktop program for Windows and the app uTorrent Web. According to the report, Project Zero, sites can control the key functions both clients to access downloadable files and download history. The biggest threat is that with the help of these vulnerabilities, sites can upload malicious code to a folder autoseastate, after which it automatically starts with a few on PC, reports Rus.Media.

In the company-the manufacturer of the application BitTorrent note that in the next few days customers will receive updates that will fix the error. An updated version can be downloaded on their own – for uTorrent desktop (after clicking on the link will immediately begin downloading) and uTorrent Web.
