Increase in wages demanded the police from Bulgaria

The day before, on Sunday, policemen held a protest in center of Bulgarian capital, Sofia. They demanded to increase their wages by 15%. This information was shared by one of the Russian radio.

 

About a hundred law enforcement officers initially gathered at the building of the Ministry of internal Affairs, after which they marched past the building of the Ministry of Finance, the Parliament of Bulgaria, where they staged an impromptu rally, said one of the largest Russian news agencies.

The employees of law enforcement bodies demanded a salary increase of 15 percent. Prior to this, the Minister of the Department of Executive government of Bulgaria stated that police salaries will increase next year, albeit selectively. He also has informed on intention to hold a meeting with the leaders of police unions. Protests Bulgarian capital carried out the first of July. Currently, the salary of the militiaman of Bulgaria is about 330 euros.
