Japan successfully launched a carrier rocket with a fourth communications satellite “Michibiki”, reports Rus.Media. This was reported in the space Agency of the country.

Japan held the fourth successful launch of the satellite “Michibiki” to create their own system, which is similar to GPS. It is noted that the new system of Japanese developers is more accurate and versatile. Recall that the previous launch a similar satellite on 19 August of the current year, and the first in September 2010. All the above spacecraft is just one part of a system of QZSS, which has developed over the last 15 years. The developers are confident that this way will be able to reduce the number of errors associated with the determination of the locations of unmanned vehicles, drivers, etc.

If the last run “Michibiki” will seriously improve the entire system, then in 2018, the year in Japan will have its own positioning system.
