Johnny Hallyday

Interviewed by the website TVMag, the singer Slimane says that Johnny Hallyday would have had to be present for the recording of the show Johnny : all the music that they love to broadcast this evening on TF1.

On the 6th of December last, Johnny Hallyday had died as a result of cancer of the lungs. After a grand national tribute, the body of the rocker has been buried in the cemetery of Lorient, on the island of Saint Barthelemy where Johnny Hallyday had a house. It is only a few days after this private ceremony as the show Johnny : all the music that they love has been recorded. The singer Slimane, who participated, tells the website TVMag a special moment, full of emotion : “I was looking forward to participate in this entertainment, it was to mark my first encounter with Johnny, since he had to be there. Do the show with his musicians, and all these singers are conscious of having lost, not only an important artist, but someone who had also been to the culture of this country, it was of course particular. But the public has really helped. We had the chance to sing in front of people who came from really there to celebrate this fabulous career. “

The show Johnny : all the music that they love will be broadcast on TF1 on Saturday, 6 January, the singer Slimane will perform Marie, a song he also recorded for the album We all have something to Johnny.
