The newspaper le Dauphiné Libéré, announced this week the singular project of a fan of Johnny Hallyday to pay tribute to his idol : the construction of a statue of 3 meters high in the village where lie the remains of his mother, Huguette Clerc.

A few weeks after the death of Johnny Hallyday as a result of a lung cancer and a tribute by national popular that it has been done, the gestures of gratitude and tribute continue to flow. While some fans are saving already to go and gather on the grave of their idol, on the island of Saint Barthelemy, Pierre Regottaz has another project. The Dauphiné Libéré reveals that this fan of the first hour would like to do to erect a statue of Johnny Hallyday from 3 meters high in the town of Viviers, in the Ardèche, where rests the mortal remains of the mother of the singer, Huguette Clerc : “I had the idea while in the car coming back from Paris. It should be noted that this is a draft fan, for the fans, which will be funded by the fans (…) I have made contact with a sculptor Valentinois,George Daniel. We already have sketches (…) I had a place in the most way possible to Viviers. Here it is huge. It will be seen from the road. We already have an agreement. There will also be a beautiful olive-tree, a panel against the restaurant and surely a plate, for example. A subscription is going to be launched. I even had the official look-alike of Johnny on the phone, Richy, who think it’s great and who wants to participate.”

The project, estimated at between 12 000 and 14 000 euro would be exposed to in the garden of a restaurant, at the edge of the road 86.
