    MONTREAL – The governor general Julie Payette will meet with the mayor Valérie Plant during a visit to Montreal next Monday.

    The meeting will be held at the town hall in 14 h. Ms. Payette will meet with the mayor and sign the golden book of the City.

    “This is a first meeting between the two women to get to know and discuss different folders,” said Geneviève Jutras, spokesperson Valérie Plant.

    In the early evening, the governor general will deliver then a speech at the École de technologie supérieure (ETS) in the framework of the launch of a book on innovation. Julie Payette wrote the foreword to the book.
