Kate Middleton is pregnant with her 3rd child : if it is a girl, the fans want that it is called the Diana – Gala
tribute
The announcement of the new pregnancy of Kate Midletton occurs a few days after the twentieth anniversary of the death of princess Diana. The fans see it as a continuity, and hope that the baby royal will take his or her first name.
A few days ago, the world paid homage to princess Diana, who died twenty years ago in a tragic car accident. This Monday, 4 September, Kensington palace announced the good news : Kate Middleton and prince William will be parents for the third time. Among the messages of congratulations, a lot of fans of Lady Di have made the connection between these two events.
Some fans see it as a continuity : “Pleased to learn that Kate and William are going to have a new child. The legacy of Diana continues” , has testified to a user. “Congratulations to William and Kate for their third child. That all goes well during the maternity. Diana would have been so proud“, has moved a second. Other fans go further by asking that the baby takes the name of the princess departed if it is a girl.
Bets are already open on the first name of the baby to be royal, but the name of Diana is not a favorite. According to the English bookmaker, if it is a girl, the duke and duchess will opt probably for “Alice” or ” Victoria “ in reference to the mother of prince Philip and the queen Victoria. If it is a boy, Kate and William could choose the first name “Arthur”, the middle name of the dad, or ” Henry “.
