SAINT-ROCH-OUEST | A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in the early evening, Saturday, during a collision with an SUV in Saint-Roch-Ouest, in Lanaudière.
It was feared, first for his life, but his condition has stabilized after its transport to the hospital, ” said Audrey-Anne Bilodeau of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
According to initial information, it seems that one or the other of the two conductors failed to make his mandatory stop, or yield the right of way, to 17: 30 at the intersection of the chemin du Ruisseau-Saint-Jean and highway 125.
The motorcycle travelling west on the chemin du Ruisseau Saint-Jean, while the SUV was traveling south on route 125, said Ms. Bilodeau, who could not give details relating to the identity of the motorcyclist.
For her part, the woman driving the SUV was not injured.
A patrol investigation collision had to go to the place and the traffic, in the hours that followed the accident, was alternating.
