The Loblaw company is conducting a recall of bags of cooked shrimp due to the possible presence of raw shrimp, which may contain harmful bacteria.

The products affected by the recall have been distributed nationally. In Quebec, these shrimp have been sold in the Club shops Warehouse, Maxi, Maxi & Cie, Provigo and Provigo Le Marché.

    It is: “cooked Shrimp (56/65 Shrimp per lb.) – Pacific White shrimp”, the format 300 g (CUP 0 60249 00927 1 – CODES 2018 OC 20: PM.AP).

The canadian food inspection agency (CFIA) recommends that you do not consume these foods and throw them away or bring them back to where they were purchased. People who have used these products are advised to see a doctor.

The CFIA has clarified that no cases of illness associated with the consumption of these products has not been reported to date.
