Michel Onfray slams the door of the Political Show : the philosopher wanted to 2 000 euros per show – Gala

Michel Onfray will not be back on France 2 in “the Emission Policy, more”, broadcast in the second part of the evening. The philosopher would have claimed a compensation of 2 000 euros per show. A request denied by the production chain .

In a program broadcast in second part of the evening, entitled ” Transmission policy : the sequel “, the philosopher should comment on current events with the guest in the tea. But Michel Onfray has finally decided not to participate in the program. He explained his refusal in a mail sent to the editor of the TV Magazine : “The production not having expected neither contract nor remuneration, I did not follow this adventure ” had taken a specify this passionate about politics.

For this regular intervention in the issue, the philosopher wished to be paid. But the production has declined. ” We had a real common desire to work together on this issue, and had an agreement in principle by Michel Onfray. The talks about compensation were ongoing, but have not been successful , “said France 2 at theObs. The chain has subsequently added : “We are the accounting of the public money, and we have to stay reasonable on budget “. According to an internal source of the chain, the philosopher would have claimed the sum of 2 000 euros per show.

The first Broadcast Political broadcast on France 2, will be held on the 28th of September next. Edouard Philippe will be the first guest of the show, hosted by Léa Salamé, who found herself alone at the controls, since the departure of David Pujadas on LCI.
