MONTREAL | employees of a pastry shop on the Boulevard de l’acadie, in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Montreal, have a narrow escape when a man wanted to set fire to the trade with the help of a Molotov cocktail, in the night from Friday to Saturday.

Shortly after midnight, an individual shattered the glass of the back door of the bakery-café Rm. Puffs in order to launch his craft incendiary. It has, however, taken the leak before you can turn it on, when it was noticed by employees.

“When he saw them, he fled in a vehicle. He has not had the time to turn on [Molotov cocktail], it has left in place”, said Caroline Chèvrefils, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

An investigation has been opened by the SPVM. No arrest has yet been made.
