MONTREAL | woman of 85 years old has suffered serious injuries when she was caught by a vehicle, Thursday afternoon, in Montreal.
The collision occurred at around 15: 35 p.m. at the intersection of Pie-IX boulevard and Beaubien street.
The old woman stood at the edge of the boulevard when he was struck by a sport utility vehicle (SUV). She was unconscious upon arrival of emergency services, but she would come back to her once at the hospital.
The victim was still in a serious condition, in the middle of the night, in the most recent balance sheet of health shared by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
The driver of the SUV, a woman of 42 years old, was driving to the hospital to treat a nervous shock.
A portion of Beaubien street, and a section of Pie-IX boulevard, in both directions, were closed to traffic for the purposes of the police investigation.
