A man has been the victim of a murder, on Wednesday evening, near a park in the borough of Saint-Léonard in Montreal.

According to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), the man stood on the edge of the park Ladauversière, near the streets of Lisieux and Paimpol, when a car approached him at about 20: 30. A shooter was then shot in the direction of the man, which has been achieved several times.

The victim, a 45 year-old male, was driving in critical condition to the hospital, where his death has been found, said the POLICE.

The shooter, meanwhile, has taken the leak.

Investigators from the SPVM were expected on the scene to meet the many witnesses of the scene. The event occurred near a park visited for its play areas, including tennis courts, football, baseball and a swimming pool. In particular, a soccer game was played at the vicinity of the location of the shooting.

In spite of everything, nobody else was injured during the event.
