The solar dynamics Observatory, NASA took a picture where you can see the coronal hole in the Sun an unusual shape. The picture was published on the Agency’s website, writes Rus.Media .
As scholars have noted, 21-22 December 2017 coronal hole on the star resembled a giant question mark.
Coronal holes are regions of open magnetic field, which in ultraviolet light seem to be darker than the surrounding space.
In addition, coronal holes are sources of flows of plasma, called solar wind.
