NASA showed the merging of two galaxies

Orbital Observatory of NASA has shown how the process of merging two galaxies, reports Rus.Media.
Space object shown on the image is called NGC 5256 and is a pair of galaxies that are in the final stages of a merger. These galaxies were observed with the Hubble space telescope.

This image is collected from the new data. They show that the dust and gas orbiting galaxies that collided, became more pronounced.
