“We only focus on one product each year, and every day, when we wake up and start working, we think of only one smartphone, so it’s hard to compete with each other. All other brands have to think about full phones at the same time, ” confesses the founder of OnePlus to Frandroid . In terms of positioning on the market, Carl Pei explains that the group’s policy is not to sell necessarily at low prices but rather, at the right price. And that’s where probably the success of OnePlus whose “Midnight Black” version of his 3T is still available for purchase.
