This Friday, 5 January, the first lady Brigitte Macron welcomed to the Elysée palace, the wife of the president of turkey, Emine Erdogan that it had previously met at a formal dinner in Belgium last may.

Friday, January 5, Emmanuel Macron met the controversial Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. After a lunch and a private meeting, the two presidents held a press conference which proved to be muscular, president Erdogan tançant roundly a French journalist for his question regarding unelivraison supposed weapons by Ankara to the group islamic State in 2014 : “You speak with the words of FETO [‘terrorist Organization of the partisans of Fethullah, ed], not as a journalist “

In parallel to this political meeting, Brigitte Macron, for his part, welcomed at the Elysée palace, the wife of the president of turkey, Emine Erdogan. The first two ladies had already had the opportunity to meet at an official dinner in Belgium in may and Germany in July last.

Always at the ready, Brigitte Macron had chosen for the occasion to wear a dark skinny jeans and ankle boots and a suit jacket to double pattern, the top of the jacket being grey while the bottom part of the garment was red stripes on navy blue background. We don’t know what we discussed the first two ladies but their implications in associations are likely to have been raised.
