Our confreres of the site Purepeople.com crossed yesterday the path of David Proux, a face oh so familiar for more than 30 years. The opportunity to take some new of the old playboy of Helen and the Boys.

On may 11, 1992, the company AB Productions launched the sitcom its more famous on the antenna of TF1 and by the same revolutionized the purposes of afternoons of a whole generation ready to postpone homework time : Helen and the boys began. Quickly became a phenomenon of society, the series will go up to group 6 million viewers in front of the small screen, all seduced by the love affairs of Hélène Girard and his band of friends, among them Stephen, the handsome lover transfixed by the beautiful Cathy. A role played by David Proux for 70 episodes, the equivalent of six months of filming.

25 years passed, and our colleagues from Purepeople come to meet the gaze of emerald green of the actor Wednesday evening at the Théâtre des Mathurins in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. The opportunity to see that in 49 years, the man has lost none of its beauty. A gift that has allowed him to hang his nice face on the catwalks of Paris, Milan and Barcelona and pay his or her face for the advertising campaigns for the brands Azzaro, Nivéa, Jeep Cherokee, Atlas for men, Varilux to name but a few. Added to this, a brief appearance in Lies, betrayals, and more if affinities in 2004 (with Edouard Baer). Side feelings, if one does not know to whom he is sharing the life-currently, it is Cathy Andrieu, his sweetheart in Hélène and the boys, whom he married in the 90’s. A marriage to which were born, Alice and Mathis. Divorced since, perhaps will they need to share in new scenes together because for almost 50 years David Proux has decided to reorient his career toward comedy.
