Johnny Hallyday
Johnny Hallyday will be buried on Monday, 11 December, at the cemetery of Lorient, St. Barts. Laeticia Hallyday is on-site for the final preparations before the tomb of the rocker.
His latest trip comes to an end. Johnny Hallyday will soon rest on the island of Saint-Barthelemy, in the small cemetery of Lorient : it will be buried on Monday, 11 December, during a ceremony that was intimate – in contrast with the heartfelt homage which was rendered to him on Saturday 9 December. A million people had gathered that day in the streets of Paris to celebrate the old idol of the young, the rocker who has accompanied their lives for nearly 60 years.
If the choice of the island for the funeral of Johnny Hallyday controversy (because of the distance and difficulties for the fans to come and gather), nothing was random about the ceremony. Laeticia Hallyday gave very precise instructions : the relatives of the singer must come dressed and dressed in white, not black, to reflect the light that was the rocker. The headstone also will be, as white as the coffin seen on the 9th December during the tribute popular choice – a choice that recalls the one made in the case of Elvis. Will be particularly present around Laeticia Hallyday and daughters Jade and Joy : the manager, Sébastien Farran, the former producer Jean-Claude Camus, Laura Smet David Hallyday, and Maxim Nucci.
