It was an emotional evening. In this majestic setting that offers the Hotel d’evreux, this particular hotel in the place Vendome, Michel Pébereau President of the Foundation ARC, and François Dupré, director general, received from sponsors, donors and partners for the 4th annual ” FOR THE WOMEN WE LOVE, dedicated to the research on the cancers of the breast. During the cocktail, the Italian actress Caterina Murino godmother of the evening, opened the ball by grabbing hold of a microphone in order to challenge the 130 guests : ” My mother has had breast cancer, my father prostate cancer. Thank god, they are out. I ask you just to make you a gift, get tested as soon as possible, the fight against cancer is a fight against time !”.

Subsequently Marie Drucker, master of ceremonies, has very actively contributed to raising funds for research by walking among the tables and exhorting the guests, with humor and determination. If the menu concocted by the chef Yannick Alléno was divine, if Pauline Lefevre, Mélanie Bernier, Anouchka Delon, Julien Dereims, Alexandre Arcady, Annabelle Belmondo, Alice Benezech, Dolores Doll, Louise Monot, Renan Pacheco, Hajiba Fahmy, Jean-Claude Narcy…have, by their presence, contributed to the success of this evening, no one had forgotten the challenge of the evening : to accelerate the ongoing revolution in the fight against cancers of the breast the most resistant. While the young singer franco-australian Malo’ enclosed with this elegant dinner and engaged, the numbers have fallen : thanks to donations, contributions of sponsors and auction hosted by maître Arnaud Cornette de Saint-Cyr, 170 000 € have been raised. It is a lot, but still too little.
