Police of Longueuil is looking for a young man who triggered a police chase at high speed on highway 132 in Boucherville the end of last week.

On the 29th of July last, the police officers attempted to intercept the driver at fault on the boulevard De Montarville, but it was decided instead to accelerate and he borrowed the ramp leading to route 132.

“A short police chase of about a minute” is then triggered according to Service de Police de la Ville de Longueuil (SPAL).

Patrol officers have voluntarily left spinning the car on the same road, at the height of the marina de Longueuil.

According to information collected by TVA News, the person sought would be the grandson of real estate magnate for seniors, Eddy Savoie.

Some information suggests that the young man would have been behind the wheel of a luxury vehicle brand Bentley.

The SPAL refuses, however, to confirm this latest information.

Attached to the phone, a spokesperson for the groupe Savoie said ignore all of this case.
