    QUEBEC | Pierre Reid, mna for Orford for the Quebec liberal Party (QLP), will not stand in the next provincial election.

    The politician of experience, elected for the first time in 2003 with the government of Jean Charest, will announce Monday morning that it bows out, according to TVA Nouvelles.

    Pierre Reid, former rector of the University of Sherbrooke, has been minister of Education from 2003 to 2005.

    Last week, Mr Reid admitted to VAT New be gotten to an age where he needs to take a decision about its future.

    Earlier this week, Karine Vallières, liberal mp in Richmond since 2012, has also announced that it should not woo another term. She is the daughter of Yvon Vallières, who has represented the same constituency from 1981 until the arrival of his daughter.
