    OTTAWA – The clips for baby with snaps or metal are the subject of a recall because of choking hazard.

    “The snap metal clips for babies Alstyle can detach, posing a choking hazard to children,” said Health Canada in a press release.

    Made in Mexico, the latches of Alstyle Apparel & Activewear is the subject of the recall are those bearing the inscriptions “Made in Mexico” and “CAT – # – J”, having the model number 1ZEE. The sizes are 6M, 12M, 18M and they are colors white, pink, red, blue, and black. They are distributed in Canada by Gildan Activewear.

    In Canada and the United States, dated as of January 18, 2018, the company had not received any reports of incidents or injuries, the consumer.
