Samsung registered a patent that describes a smartphone display which is completely devoid of any framework, reports Rus.Media .

To release such a smartphone, the company needs to solve the problem of placing the front camera, earpiece and other necessary components.

Judging by the presented in the patent images, Samsung intends to integrate all crucial elements directly in the phone’s display. In the lower part will be a fingerprint scanner, and the top — front camera, proximity sensors and lighting, speaker and so on. Under which the company will make the appropriate cutouts in the screen. Thus, the display will occupy the entire front panel.
