GRANBY – in The aftermath of the incident that occurred at the palace of justice from Maniwaki, who has made two serious injuries, the member for Granby, François Bonnardel, is concerned about the security at the palace of justice in his region.

“Before, the office of constables was at the ground floor, but in 2014 it was decided to move it to, so that the two main entrance doors are to be discovered,” said the elected representative of the Coalition avenir Québec in an interview with TVA News.

The fact of having a special constable on the spot allowed for a vigil to the comings and goings, all the time, he believes.

The events of Wednesday in Ottawa have also been reminded of the importance of having a sufficient number of special constables or security officers based in the palace of justice of the province. The union of the special constables of the government of Québec deplores the lack of workforce in the regions.
