RIMOUSKI – The reactions were many after the broadcast of the report of TVA Nouvelles concerning the distress experienced by the beneficiary attendants of the Bas-Saint-Laurent.
Crossing to Rimouski on Friday, the member pq for Joliette and vice-head of the Parti québécois (PQ), Véronique Hivon, said it was dismayed with such a situation.
Ms. Hivon has praised the courage of employees who have terminated, at the risk of being fired, their difficult working conditions, as well as the conditions of life of the patients in the hospital and in NURSING homes.
The member for Rimouski, Harold LeBel, considers for its part that it is necessary to without delay deploy the human resources necessary to alleviate the burden of employees and ensure quality care to patients.
The minister of Health, Gaétan Barrette, is, for its part, remained silent until now.
VAT News has attempted to get his reaction on Friday, but it was pleaded that it was not available.
