An american study could serve as an introduction to sex for many men. His results go against the clichés of porn and of beliefs widely prevalent in the male community, but also in some women.
Among the most interesting, some information on the relation between penetration and pleasure. No offense to the men in a hurry, for 82% of women, vaginal penetration is not enough to reach orgasm. More than a third (36 %) need clitoral stimulation in addition, and for an additional third, this parallel stimulation is more significant.
More it is long, more it is… long
These results, published in the journal of Sex & marital therapy are from a study online on 1 055 women aged 18 to 94 years of age. The researchers from the university of Indiana (United States), have questioned them about several items that helped them (or not) to take pleasure.
First information, the pleasure is variable. Nearly 4 out of 5 females claim that some orgasms are more intense than others. And the intensity does not depend on the duration of the report. Less than one in five think that the duration of the penetration plays a role on the level of pleasure.
