Six people injured in a race of acceleration of trucks, heavy-Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce

    Six people were injured after being swept by the debris of a mechanical part that was blown up in a race of acceleration of heavy trucks in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Saturday afternoon.

    According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), three of the six people were transported to the hospital to treat their injuries, which were considered as “minor”.

    No further details concerning the nature of the injuries was not available.

    The events occurred around 12: 50, rue Sainte-Christine, indicates that the SQ.

    “The transmission of the truck of one of the participants broke out into pieces, and debris went to snatch people in the crowd,” explained Louis-Philippe Bibeau, a spokesperson for the police force.

    The latter emphasizes that no criminal offence has been committed, then that the race was taking place in a legal context.
