BRIDGEWATER, Nova Scotia | the Six teens from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, have pleaded guilty, Wednesday, to have shared naked photos of more than 20 girls aged between 13 and 18 years of age without their consent.

Judge Paul Scovil was sentenced to 50 hours community work, to be advised on how to act and not to enter into contact with their victims for a period of nine months unless a consent is given.

The Crown attorney Peter Dostal said he was satisfied with the conclusion of this story. “These young people were not bad boys, has he said on radio station CKBW. They lacked maturity and they acted without thinking about the consequences.”

Standing in front of the judge, the six teens have expressed their remorse, and they have taken the whole responsibility of their action.

Dostal did not want to minimize the acts committed. “This type of behavior can have catastrophic consequences on the young people very vulnerable and can potentially follow them for the rest of their life and, for this reason, we continue to stress that it is a very serious offense.”
