The summer is already finished on the North Shore? Three weeks of the official start of the fall, the town of Fermont, situated a few hundred kilometres north of Sept-Îles, has experienced its first snowfall on Thursday.

Up to 10 centimetres of snow were expected, but a little less than five centimeters are finally fallen.

The record for snow in August for the sector dates back to 2009. This year, a total of 6 inches fell on the 27th of August.
