The study was conducted by Initial Washroom Hygiene specialists. They found that on average tea bag, which is stored in the shared office kitchen, 3785 bacteria. This number significantly exceeds the number of germs on the toilet seat, reports Rus.Media.

So, on the seat of the “white friend” is a total of 220 bacterial units. But on the handles of kettles, the experts found 2483 bacteria on the rim of a dirty Cup – 1746 bacteria, and the refrigerator handle – 1592.

Among office workers conducted a survey to find out how often people adhere to hygiene. It turned out that among thousands of staff of different offices as much as 80 percent of people do not wash their hands before a tea or coffee.

“That and running cross-contamination. Dirty hands the bacteria enter on one side, and from there move into someone else’s hands or other objects”, – said the doctor Peter Barratt.
