BAGHDAD, Iraq | The iraqi Prime minister Haider al-Abadi announced on Saturday that “the end of the war” for the past three years by government forces to eliminate the group jihadist islamic State (EI) in Iraq.
“Our forces are in full control of the border iraq-syria, and I therefore announcing the end of the war against Daech”, an acronym in Arabic of the AR, he said in Baghdad at the opening of a conference organized by the iraqi union of journalists.
