A montreal company is preparing to launch, this spring, a new video game that will go to the meeting of the dinosaurs of the “Jurassic Park” in the streets.

“Jurassic World Live”, the concept of which is closer to the flicks planetary “Pokemon Go”, is based on the technology of augmented reality and geolocation. Players will be invited to stroll through the streets to collect dinosaurs, “by locating them on a map, and deploying a drone built into the game to collect DNA samples,” explained the company Ludia.

The players will thus be able to wander around and see, through their mobile, dinosaurs walk around them, photograph them, film them and to collect them. Functions will also allow players to interact, for example by designing the dinosaurs to bring them against those of other players.

The game was developed by the montreal company Ludia, who had already designed, in partnership with Universal, the games ‘Jurassic World: The Game” and “Jurassic Park : Builder”.

The launch of the game should coincide with the arrival in theaters on June 22, of “the World jurassic: the kingdom is deposed (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), the sequel of “World jurassic”, which had re-started the film series in 2015.

The game will be available on an unspecified date everywhere around the world, with the exception of a few countries in Asia. It will be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
