The emergency rooms of la Belle Province were taken over by the Quebec sick, Sunday, hospitals like those in Thetford Mines and Baie-Comeau, posting an occupancy rate of stretchers of 180 %.
This is by far the worst situation observed by the site Index Health, which publishes the occupancy rate of all the emergency of Quebec.
On the island of Montreal, the occupancy rates in the red ranged from 100 % to 155 %, with the worst statistics going to the jewish general Hospital, at the Hospital of Verdun and the Lakeshore Hospital.
The situation was also difficult in the emergency rooms of Laval, Laurentides, Montérégie, with occupancy rates very high, ranging up to 161 % at the Centre hospitalier Anna-Laberge in Châteauguay.
In contrast, regions such as Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, were the least occupied.
