The first degree of SpaceX Falcon 9 caught fire during landing on a floating platform in the Atlantic ocean, reports Rus.Media. The incident occurred on Monday, October 30, after the rocket successfully delivered the next satellite into orbit, reports The Verge.

“The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully delivered a satellite into its designated orbit. Shortly after the launch of the first stage of the rocket returned to Earth and landed in the Atlantic ocean on one of the Autonomous barges. This was followed by a fire, which soon ceased,” wrote the publication.
