    LACHUTE | relatives and friends of Yvon Lacasse will be one last tribute between 17 h and 21 h, at the funeral home Roland Ménard, Lachute, on Friday.

    His funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the church of Saint-Philippe.

    “Donations in memory of Bernie may be made to the Association of Families of Persons Assassinated or Disappeared (AFPAD)”, one can read in the notice of the death of the septuagenarian, who died tragically.

    The body of Yvon Lacasse, 71 years of age, was found on September 20, at Arundel in the Laurentians.

    His vehicle has been stolen on 14 September by Ugo Fredette during his run that took him from Saint-Eustache to Ontario.

    The path of the fugitive has likely crossed that of the man in his seventies at the rest stop Lachute.

    No charges have yet been brought in connection with the death of Yvon Lacasse.
