OTTAWA minister of public Services and Procurement, Judy Foote, will announce his resignation Thursday or Friday, depending on what that VAT News has learned.
The member of parliament for Bonavista-Burin-Trinity, Newfoundland and Labrador, will announce his resignation from the post of minister Thursday in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The politician is also expected to announce that it will leave his seat later this year.
Last April, the minister Foote had indicated that she was leaving his post “until further notice” for reasons of “personal and family”, without giving further explanations.
In an interview with the local newspaper “The Soutern Gazette” at the end of July, the minister Foote had indicated that his family has gone through a difficult period in recent times due to the illness of one of the members of the family.
“As a parent, you can be sick and get through it, but when it is your child that is, it is much more difficult,” said the minister, adding that his daughter was sick. Ms. Foote stated feel the need to be with her. “I couldn’t get my work before my family,” she declared.
