Swiss archaeologists have found the ruins of the temple of Artemis in Greece, who was looking for more than 100 years.
The altar was found on the territory of Eritrea, on the Greek island of Euboea, reports Rus.Media.
The ancient building is situated at the foot of the hill Paleckis, located near the fishing village Amarinthos.
Archaeologists first went the wrong way, searching the temple for clues of the ancient Greek geographer Strabo. But this search was unsuccessful.
As it turned out, the ancient scientist was wrong, because 100 years, the Church searched for 11 km from the place where were the ruins.
