    The funeral of Maïté Come, will take place on 27 July next, to the Magdalen Islands.

    The young 21-year old woman, whose body had been found after 24 days of searches in the basins of the chutes Jean-Larose, died on 21 may after having lost his footing on the edge of the falls, located at the foot of Mont Sainte-Anne, in Beaupré.

    Several workers and volunteers have shown courage and determination to find the body, after having forced the authorities to continue the search in June of last year. Then, it is by removing layer by layer the fifteen feet of earth of the second and last pool using a mini-excavator and shovels and that the body had been identified, the 13 June.

    On several occasions during the harsh research, the mother of the victim had expressed the desire to “bring her daughter home.”
