The CEO of Lenovo Yang Wantin hinted at returning phone MotorolaRazr in with a folding screen.

This statement was made head of the company while interacting with reporters at MWC 2018. In response to the question about the possibility of revival Motorola brand RAZR a top Manager said: “With new technologies to flexible screens you will see more innovation in our design of the smartphone. What you have described, will be developed very soon”, reports Rus.Media.

Journalists tried to clarify whether we are talking about the revival of the RAZR. In response the Director General stated: “I Think I have already answered this question.”

Last year Ian Yanisin said that Motorola should not rule out the return of the phone in a retro design, but since this was not mentioned. Perhaps the decision about the revival of the RAZR could be affected by the release of the updated Nokia 3310 and the recent Nokia 8110.

Motorola RAZR V3 — GSM-phone Motorola, the flagship model of the manufacturer in 2004. The key feature that distinguishes the phone from the competition at the time, was the design. The phone had ultra-slim profile, while being a clamshell, the keyboard is made of metal plate and includes an electroluminescent backlight. The small thickness and the abundance of the metal gave a similarity with the razor, and this was reflected in the name RAZR (razor — razor).
