The American company Apple is in cooperation with the Korean LG is planning by 2020 to develop an iPhone that can be bent – media, reports Rus.Media.

While fans are still waiting for the start of sales of iPhone X OLED display made by Samsung, insiders report that in the near future Apple is going to collaborate with another South Korean company LG. As a result of the cooperation will be the first ever iPhone with a flexible OLED screen.

LG created a separate team of highly skilled engineers who will develop flexible OLED display for future IPhone. In parallel, the Koreans organized a team that is responsible for creating a flexible PCB, which can be implemented in a flexible body.

Apple is also considering the possibility of investing in the LG plant, which will produce flexible OLED displays for iPhone. Samsung plans to present its first smartphone with a flexible OLED screen in the next year, while Apple is counting on the Prime Minister not earlier than in 2020.
