The decision of the minister of Health Gaétan Barrette to consolidate the management of the CHU-Sainte-Justine and CHUM continues to be pleased.

The president of the Foundation of the Governors of the hope, Francine Laplante, has urged the government Couillard to reverse its decision to combine the management and the boards of directors of institutions.

Francine Laplante, whose son was a patient of the hospital center for pediatric, feared that the consolidation of the directorates of the hospitals to impair the mission of the CHU-Sainte-Justine.

She asks the parents to push for the CHU-Sainte-Justine, regains its full autonomy. “Nobody dares to speak, told Francine Laplante. It is politicized then as it is humanitarian. It is the parents who must move in and out to say that it does not have good sense.”

The Council of physicians, dentists and pharmacists of the hospital centre pediatric is also mobilized to prevent a merger between the institutions in launching a campaign on social media.
