This decision of the government of Nepal has adopted in order to significantly reduce the number of accidents and deaths of climbers singles. In the last year alone there were more than 20 accidents and 5 of them ended with death. Now, under the new legislation, rise to the top of Everest are allowed in the group no less than 4 people.

As the authorities expect a particularly intensive influx of tourists this year, the training headquarters for climbers increased the number of jobs for instructors and conductors in 2.5 times. However, the pricing has also changed. Now the cost of a trip up Everest will be increased in 2 times. If last year it cost the tourists $ 13 thousand, there’d be at least 25 thousand dollars.
