MONTREAL | ON the occasion of the celebrations of the end of the year, the organizers of Montreal’s 375th anniversary invite Montrealers to a great day of celebrations, this Sunday, at the Old Port.

A banquet popular launched on the stroke of 12: will stretch up to 18 h on the rue Saint-Paul. First come, first served! For the occasion, some classic cooking new year’s eve quebec will be offered: pea soup, meat pie, pudding chômeur and treats will be offered free of charge at the Bonsecours Market.
In the evening, the Old Port will transform into a dance floor open to the sky. As of 21 pm, the scene of the Jacques-Cartier pier will host numerous artists presented by Garou. The party of the New Year will last until 2 p.m. and party-goers will find on-site areas for warm up, because, yes, it promises to be cold!
Finally, the grand countdown, which will mark the transition to the new year will be the quai de l’horloge, where it will be impossible to miss the spectacular fireworks to welcome the 2018 as well as the show of illumination of the pont Jacques-Cartier.
