The paramedics are launching an awareness campaign on social media to “to denounce the inaction of the Minister Gaetan Barrette”.
The videos posted by the Federation of employees of the prehospital du Québec (FPHQ) on social media are evidence of the paramedics that put forward the reality of their employment.
The FPHQ invites its members to denounce the “consequences of the action or the inaction of the minister of Health and social Services, Gaétan Barrette”, accompanying their testimony the hashtag #ÀCauseDeBarrette.
The consequences related to the schedules of faction, which require paramedics to be available 24h / 24 and 7 days /7 are especially denounced.
A few of the “cries of the heart”
- “#ÀCauseDeBarrette, the paramedics are out of breath”
- “#ÀCauseDeBarrette You Dr. Module, would you be able to hold your breath for 8 minutes? A child who is choking needs to do it this time”
- “#ÀCauseDeBarrette, the population of the Lotbinière region is in danger”
- “#ÀCauseDeBarrette, there is a lack of numbers in Lévis and our response time is too long”.
