The port of Trois-Rivières welcomes the tall ships

THREE-RIVERS – park-Trois-Rivières port is in a festive mood to welcome the tall ships at the end of the week.

The first boats scheduled to arrive Friday, but eventually the two have already arrived, two foreign vessels.

It is of the most imposing sailing ships that will come over the weekend.

We expected four other canadian ships.

It will add a canadian frigate, the “HMCS Toronto”. In addition, on Saturday, a cruise ship is in port, the “MS Europa”, with more than 400 passengers and over 200 crew members.

Therefore, there will be a lot of activity at the port of Trois-Rivières at the end of the week and this will be an opportunity to mark the 150th anniversary of canadian Confederation.

A stage will be installed in the harbourfront park, and we will make a presentation of fields marine.

A parade of the colonial militia is expected, and a concert of the royal canadian Navy.

It will be possible to board some boats to make the visit.
