The rant of Lââm on Twitter against TF1, the singer calls on the CSA Gala

Lââm is angry and wants everyone to know. The singer has pushed a big rant on Twitter when the chain TMC rediffusait the mini-series, uk Ten little niggers adapted from the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie. A title which does not pass.

Lââm was very fond of Twitter. Very active on the social network, it grows regularly of small rants and do not hesitate to assume his convictions, like it or not. On 28 July, the singer of 45 years, has not hesitated to challenge directly the TF1 group in which she complains that the use of the word “negro” in the title of my mini-series English Six little niggers adapted from the novel by Agatha Christie published in 1939.

Lââm, very affected, recalled that the term racist should not be used in 2017 : ” My black friends, their children, my husband are shocked to see the word ‘negro’ on TF1 and TMC. You think of them ? Me, I don’t sleep, I have tears in my eyes “. The singer was also outraged to see that the CSA sanctioned heavily Cyril Hanouna and D8 but cautionnait openly as racist. Well decided to make of the pedagogy, Lââm also recalled that the title of the novel itself had undergone many changes over the years. The title of the best-selling Agatha Christie draws its inspiration from a nursery rhyme of the 19th century aptly titled Ten little niggers. Published under this title, the book is called Ten little Indians and And then There Were None (and then there were none).

If some web surfers have understood the reaction of Lââm, others, however, have been particularly virulent with the singer. The exchange of kindness then continued throughout the day before that the singer does not waive, visibly dégouttée by the turn of events : ” well well I see that in France the title negro in a series does not shock anyone in 2017 on TF1 and TMC. I loose the case, goodbye ! “. Neither TF1 or TMC does not have in any case wanted to take part in the debate.

Boycott tmc that redistributes the series that tf1 has aired “10 little negroes” the word negro should no longer exist
