MONTREAL – Several school crossing guards, without a contract for more than 26 months, will gather Tuesday morning in front of the headquarters of the police Department of the City of Montreal, their employer, to demand a new collective agreement.
The school crossing guards are without a work contract since December 31, 2015.
“Those of them to permanent status and full-time earn currently $ 13,000 a year,” said the canadian Union of public employees (CUPE), on Tuesday in a press release.
