    Look at this article

The member of parliament for Gaspé, Gaétan Lelièvre live in the past? At least that is what leaves believe its web site which obviously needs a good update…

Indeed, on its web site as a member, Gaétan Lelièvre said to still be “the spokesman of the official opposition for the maritime Strategy, the spokesman of the official opposition in the field of fisheries and spokesperson of the official opposition responsible for the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine”.

The snag is that Mr. Lelievre seat as an independent for almost a year. He was expelled from the caucus of the parti québecois in may 2017 after our bureau investigation had revealed that he had accepted gifts, and requested “certain advantages” of the firm Roche to the time where he was general manager of the Town of Gaspé in 2008 and 2009.

In addition, in the section “current functions” we can read that Mr. Lelievre is “a member of the Québec branch of the parliamentary Association the New Brunswick–Quebec (NBQPA) since June 20, 2014” and that it is also “a member of the Committee on agriculture, fisheries, energy and natural resources since the 6 September 2015”. However, the member of parliament for Gaspé currently serves on nor one nor the other of these committees.
